The Sorell Family | Family Photos | South Tampa Photographer
Kathy and her husband Jose were a little nervous (yet excited!) for their first professional family photo session in eight years! Kathy wanted to make sure that it was absolutely perfect, especially since their two sweet kids have grown so much over the past few years, and she got to work coordinating outfits. Needless to say, she nailed it! The deep burgundy and navy colors projected lots of warmth for this late fall session that looked great against the greenery of Swann Park in South Tampa.
Three Generations of Love
As soon as they got to the park, we just chit-chatted a little to help them settle in and feel at ease. I know that it’s hard to get candid images when everyone feels anxious. I loved meeting their amazing kids, Emmy and Gabriel, as well as his namesake, Grandpa Gabriel! They were all so sweet, it was like meeting with old friends. After getting to know each other, I walked them through the session. They quickly found their groove with little prompting from me.
The weather was perfect, and the sun glistened through the old moss-draped trees. Kathy and Emmy looked just lovely. Their smiles are so infectious! Both of them are beautiful inside and out. I think it helps to have such wonderful, supporting men by their side. They are the perfect example of what true family looks like.
We had plenty of giggles during the session, too. Kathy laughed, “During one pose with the whole family sitting on a blanket, a dog walked up behind us and started doing his business! I was secretly hoping that would have made the cut…”
After the session, I asked Kathy about her experience (I love to hear feedback of any kind from my clients!) She said, “We are extremely happy. They are very well done, professional, and worth every penny. The choice of the park for the setting was excellent, the natural lighting was amazing.”
Thank you so much, Sorell Family! I look forward to seeing your sweet family in the future!
