Ayden Marcus | Natural Newborn Session | Florida Photographer

For this in-home newborn/family session, Mom and Dad wanted me to capture them in their natural element in order to preserve those precious first memories. They created the most amazing woodland creature theme (Devon could easily get a job as a nursery designer)!

Ayden is the cutest little man you’ve ever seen. He has a full head of sandy hair, bright blue eyes, and perfect little baby lips. So handsome! After doing Devon’s maternity session just a few short weeks before, it was wonderful to catch up with her and Andy to see how everything is going now that Ayden has made his debut! They are such a sweet family, and Ayden is going to grow up surrounded by warmth and love. Here’s what Devon had to say:

Sweet Words to Brighten Our Day

“We wanted to capture our little man in his own environment shortly after he came home from the hospital. I wanted to capture his sweet woodland creature nursery as well as Andy and I as new parents in our natural setting. This session took place after Highlight Studios did my maternity session to showcase the beauty of being 36 weeks pregnant and how my body and life was going to change in just a few short weeks. It felt complete.

“When little man needed a break, Taylor let us do our thing She was also flexible with our session—we had it planned a week earlier but we were not quite ‘photo ready,’ and she postponed it a few days, no questions asked. It made me feel more comfortable with my son and my post-partum body. She knew how to ‘shush’ little man like a pro to get him in the right froggy position for the perfect shot. She was so sweet and gentle with him. The pics were perfect! She even sent out same-day previews. With today’s social network world, you want that instant gratification, and she delivers!”
