Sydney and Hunter | A Modern Downtown Engagement Session

These two! Don’t they look like a couple from a bridal magazine?! I was blown away by how natural they were in front of the camera and how photogenic they were in every. single. photo! I couldn’t get enough of their perfection, so I just kept snapping. 

Sydney and Hunter chose to head downtown for their engagement session, and the spots we found while walking around downtown were perfect for showcasing their style and personality—modern, clean, and simple. These photos really highlight the two of them and their relationship with each other, exactly what an engagement session is supposed to focus on. Some of the photos have more industrial accents or backdrops, and they add a really creative yet clean-looking dimension to their collection of photos. I had so much fun documenting these memories for them!

A Little About the Couple

I had the pleasure of capturing the proposal, and now with their wedding is less than a year away, I had fun getting to know them a little better. Hunter is in school to be an architect, and Syndey is about to graduate nursing school. These two have known each other since they were very young, so they truly know each other better than anyone. Because of their relaxed and comfortable relationship, it was easy to have them in front of the camera. They naturally focused on each other and enjoyed their time together while I snapped the photos. 

All three of us loved the hidden gems we were able to find throughout Tampa. Even though I’ve lived here for years, things just look different when you capture them in photos. Everything looks more colorful and seems full of life when you focus on the details. In these photos, Sydney and Hunter’s smiles say it all! I can't wait for the wedding next March!
