Emme and Caleb | A Sunny Afternoon Engagement Session | South Tampa
Engagement photos are usually the first professional photos that a couple does together. Transitioning from doing everything independently to working cohesively as a couple takes a little time – that’s the beauty of the engagement stage. Taking photos and being in front of the camera can make anyone nervous, and posing intimately to show off your relationship can feel even more awkward. (How often do you have people zooming in on a sweet kiss? I get it! It does feel a little unnatural.)
But during this gorgeous engagement session, Emme and Cale both did amazing! To get them to loosen up and find a good “modeling” groove, I just had them look at each other. Sure enough, the more they looked at each other the more laughs we got. I enjoyed capturing the lighthearted moments these two shared during the session. And the pretty day made it even more serene and relaxing. We had gorgeous afternoon light that broke through the trees in all the right places. I absolutely love the photos about halfway into the session of the sun casting a warm glow above them. They were really in the moment and looked so in love – just the look I was trying to capture!
These two are so sweet and very easy to work with. I love their fun, laid-back style. Emme and Caleb are getting married in July of this year, and if their fun engagement session is any indication of how their wedding day will be, I know it will be absolutely wonderful! I am so excited for their wedding, and it will be here before they know it!
Congratulations, Emme and Caleb! Thanks for choosing me to capture these beautiful first memories for you as a couple!
